“R.A.R.E. (Reliving A Real Experience)” is the latest and most introspective project from Richmond, VA artist Nickelus F. It’s a passion project that delves into Nick’s thoughts about his career, life & music.
Nickelus F gives new life to Portishead’s classic material on this project without taking away from the original mean and sound of Portishead’s production and lyrics.
“R.A.R.E. (Reliving A Real Experience)” is also a lead into more original work with Portishead that will surface in Fall/Winter 2009. Nickelus F & his band Silverust are working on music with Portishead front man Geoff Borrow that will be released in the UK and of course can be found online.

New York-based photographer Jason Lee Parry captures the animal side of blue-eyed model Erin Urb in his latest spread, Them Animals. Parry adds to the wild motif by using fur, fringe and animal prints. The setting of the shoot takes place in the woods, which is an appropriate back drop for the shoot. Very animalistic indeed.

The Evora has the distinction of being the first modern Lotus to seat four, and this week it was announced that they will begin distribution to stateside dealerships shortly. The Evora is unquestionably one of the most practical and usable Lotuses ever built; despite its hefty performance numbers it is intended as a luxurious and well-rounded 2+2, and boasts a bevy of options more commonly found in cars from Ingolstadt than Norfolk. The starting price for the only mid-engine 2+2 in production? $73,500. If you think that’s a bit over the top consider this: the first two months worth of production models have already been presold.

With one the year’s largest art events and exhibitions just around the corner, resident Hypebeast blogroll photographer Yasumasa Yonehara will be on hand at Art Basel Miami 2009. Selected works as well as a special pop-up style studio space will also be set up. The FOURTHWALL-organized exhibition runs from December 3rd till December 6th. For those now able to attend the Miami showing, Fourth Wall will be holding a second exhibition at their Boston location from December 12th to February 1st, 2010, with an even wider selection of works in store.

Seeing no major changes to the label’s design aesthetic, Burberry Brit welcomes a new wave of contemporary menswear looks with a steady stream of slim fitting garments accompanied by more sportswear-inspired designs, including a line of lightweight outerwear. Knits, denim, and basic tees round off the apparel which follows a tamer look as opposed to Burberry’s more conceptual lines.
